The Promotions of Dimitri Mihaloliakos, Gitana Cafasso, and Scott Council at Burke Construction Group

Burke Construction Group is pleased to announce the promotions of Dimitri Mihaloliakos, Gitana Cafasso, and Scott Council.

Burke Construction Group is proud to announce the promotion of Dimitri Mihaloliakos to Senior Vice President of Estimating, Gitana Cafasso to Vice President of Marketing and Strategy, and Scott Council to Vice President of Preconstruction. Each individual has demonstrated a strong commitment to their role during their tenure with Burke, contributing valuable insight, leadership, and forward-thinking ideas that continue to strengthen the organization.

Dimitri Mihaloliakos brings over 30 years of estimating experience, having been with Burke Construction Group majority of his career. He has played a key role in the successful delivery of high-profile projects such as UnCommons, Credit One Bank, and Glenn and Ande Christenson School of Education at Nevada State University. In addition to his professional achievements, Dimitri has been involved with industry organizations throughout his career such as the Nevada Contractors Association, NAIOP Southern Nevada, and Vistage. His dedication to fostering industry growth and building strong partnerships has made him a trusted leader at Burke.

Gitana Cafasso has been an integral part of Burke’s Marketing Department, leading a wide range of initiatives, events, and strategic efforts. During her tenure as Director of Marketing, she played a key role in major project milestones, including leading Burke’s Forever One Memorial initiatives and planning the company’s involvement with the JusRun Vegas Strong 5K/1M as well as planning Burke’s involvement with the In the Field Tour for local CCSD students. Gitana is also actively involved in the construction industry, currently serving on the NAIOP Southern Nevada Board of Directors and participating in the Nevada Contractors Association, where she previously served on the Construction Leadership Council Board. Her industry engagement and strategic vision continue to elevate Burke’s presence and relationships throughout the region.

Scott Council has demonstrated exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and a strong work ethic throughout his role as Director of Preconstruction. With more than 30 years of industry experience, Scott brings a depth of knowledge to his projects and consistently contributes to innovative preconstruction practices. He is currently involved in several high-profile projects in Downtown Las Vegas, including 3rd Street Assemblage, The Myles, and Bria at Symphony Park. His ability to communicate effectively and advance project strategies has been instrumental in supporting successful project delivery.
